Senior Director of Communications and Marketing

As Senior Director of Communications and Marketing, Jeehye works in partnership with GCORR staff, leadership, board members, volunteers, and members of the ecumenical community to promote, invite partnerships with, market resources for, and further the mission of GCORR through focused communications efforts. She develops, implements, oversees, and monitors GCORR’s strategic communications and marketing, brand management, and public relations.

Biography

Originally from Taegu, South Korea, Jeehye is GCORR’s Director of Communications, where she works in partnership with GCORR staff, leadership, board members, volunteers and members of The United Methodist Church throughout the country to carry out the mission of the agency through focused communications efforts, including social media, trainings, materials development and dissemination, webinars, and traditional media work. Additionally, Jeehye  develops, implements and monitors strategic communications, brand management, and public relations in order to raise the profile of GCORR as an authority in the areas of anti-racism, diversity, inclusion and multiculturalism. 

Jeehye holds a Masters of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a Bachelors of Science in Modern Language and Linguistics from University of Maryland in Baltimore County. She lives in Washington DC with her husband Simon, son Lev and daughter Noa.
